      A Cooki Haircare Shampoo Bar is concentrated shampoo in a solid bar form. When you rub the Cooki with water it lathers in the same way as bottled shampoo.  Making Cooki shampoo in a solid bar eliminates the need to use a plastic bottle for packaging making them entirely plastic free.
      Cookis are Shampoo and Conditioner Bars.  Cooki Haircare Shampoo Bars are jam-packed with beneficial natural ingredients that your hair will love, all you need to do is add water and rub it through your hair.  Shampoo Bars work just like plastic-bottled shampoo and will leave your hair feeling nourished, clean, shiny, and soft. Plus, Cooki Haircare Shampoo Bars have the added environmental benefits of being plastic-free and being made from mostly natural ingredients. You’ll see some favourable ingredients in our shampoo bars, such as argan oil, coconut oil, shea butter, jojoba oil, and olive oil. These ingredients are selected to help your hair to thrive, keeping healthy, feeling soft, and looking clean and shiny.

      Cookis are light and compact, but best of all, they are concentrated shampoo which makes them solid.  This prevents any liquid restrictions at the airport or any accidents with shampoo popping in your luggage (we’ve all been there!).
      Cooki Haircare shampoo and bars are super easy to use. Just wet your Cooki Haircare Shampoo Bar in hands until it begins to lather. Run bar through wet hair from root to tip and massage until hair is lathered. Rinse out with water.   
      After rinsing out shampoo, wet Cooki Conditioner Bar in hands and rub gently. Run bar through wet hair from root to tip and massage until hair is lightly coated . Rinse out with water.
      To keep your shampoo bar in good condition and long lasting, allow to dry in between washes.  We recommend using a drainer which can let the Cooki dry thoroughly. You can purchase the perfect sustainable bamboo drainer, or use something similar. 
      Our bars are refillable, just buy the shampoo bar refill next time for a complete zero waste hair hair care. 
      One 65g Cooki Haircare Shampoo Bar can last as long as three 375ml plastic bottles of shampoo. Cooki Haircare is great for your hair, and great for the environment!

      In the unlikely event that you aren't 100% happy and wish to return something to us, please email us at hello@cookihaircare.com to speak to one of our friendly team. They will see if we can help you resolve the issue, or alternatively provide you with the returns info. Please note, you are responsible for return shipping fee, and we will refund for the cost of all items excluding shipping fees.

      Conditions 

      Return must be received within 60 days. Only bars purchased from cookihaircare.com.au will be accepted, along with proof of purchase - this guarantee does not apply to 3rd party stores who sell our products. Refunds will be given back onto the same payment method. 

      You must not have used more than 25% of the bar. You will be refunded once we receive the item(s) back, so we do advise tracking to be used when returning products. We do not refund delivery or return shipping fees. 

      If you wish to exchange for another product, you will need to pay the new delivery fee.

      We want you to absolutely love our products or have your money back, so you're welcome to give them a go at home risk-free.

      Yes, all of our Cooki formulas are proudly vegan, cruelty free, gluten free and palm oil free. None of our products are tested on animals, and no orangutan's home was destroyed in the making of our products.

      Yes, we do! We offer a range of conditioner bars here. Each one is made to leave your hair soft, smooth, and tangle-free - they're designed to be mixed and matched, so either pick your favourite scent or match it to your shampoo bar.

      All Cooki bars are gentle enough to be used on coloured hair and have not in our experience caused any premature colour fading. We also have our best selling Purple Toning Shampoo Bar specifically for blonde and highlighted hair, which helps to neutralise brassy yellow tones.

      Please note that if you are using a brightly coloured dye such as blue or purple, you'll notice fading faster than regular highlights, no matter which shampoo is used - these dye formulas will not last as long, so you will notice colour run-off in the shower when you wash your hair, and this is normal.

      Great question! Just like regular conditioner doesn't lather, our conditioner bars are not designed to foam. Instead, they are a solid block of oils which you use to 'paint' directly onto your hair. Check out this video for instructions on how to activate and get the most out your conditioner. You’ll feel the softness as it melts in - no bubbles needed!

      The best part is, each conditioner bar lasts many months - they're incredibly economical. They're also very lightweight and won't weigh down your hair, so if you have fine or limp hair that tends to go flat with heavy creams, you'll absolutely love Cooki conditioner bars.

      All our bars are proudly low tox and contain no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, silicones, PEGs or synthetic fragrance. If you’re playing it super safe and are also looking to avoid essential oils during pregnancy, we suggest you go for our Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner or our Argan Shampoo, which contain no essential oils. (Please note, the Argan & Jasmine Conditioner does have Jasmine Essential Oil).
