Cooki Shampoo Bars are jam-packed with beneficial natural ingredients that your hair will love, all you need to do is add water and rub it through your hair. Shampoo Bars work just like plastic-bottled shampoo and will leave your hair feeling nourished, clean, shiny, and soft. I am loving this product. It lathers really well and you only need to use a little bit. The soaps in their holders look great in my bathroom and remind me of little macarons! I only wish the ginger smell was a bit stronger as I love ginger. Can't wait to try the rest of the range.
Over the past few years, I have been making a conscious effort to reduce my use of chemicals and plastics. I have trialled various shampoo and conditioner bars, but unfortunately have often been disappointed by their lack of lather, which makes it difficult to cleanse my scalp effectively. For context, I have fine, thin hair with an oily scalp and dry ends.
Recently, I came across a Facebook advertisement for an Australian brand - Cooki, that offers sulphate-free, natural ingredient shampoo and conditioner bars with no plastic packaging. I decided to give them a try, considering there was little to lose.
To my surprise, the ginger shampoo bar produced an excellent lather, which exceeded all my expectations. The conditioner bar initially took some getting used to, especially since I am accustomed to silicone-based products, but it ultimately left my ends feeling quite soft without making my hair oily too quickly. Transitioning from liquid conditioners to a bar requires a little bit of an adjustment, but I find it well worth the effort, considering there’s no nasties, no plastics and they last so much longer than bottled shampoo & conditioner.
Impressed by these products, I ordered a further five sets to try different variants and also purchased some for my mother. Interestingly, I had a remaining shampoo and conditioner bar from a well-known US brand, which I decided to finish before switching fully to the Cooki products. I can confirm that the Cooki bars outperform the previous brands by a significant margin.
I would like to commend the Cooki brand for developing such an innovative product that many of us have been seeking for some time. Their shampoo bars create an outstanding lather, which is almost impossible to replicate with other brands. I love the ginger shampoo and conditioner bars. Your hair feels squeaky clean while shampooing! Definitely don’t need to wash your hair as often which is so good. I use the bamboo bar drainers for the shower and the tins for travelling. So much better than bulky bottles. I was very impressed with the customer service. The ginger jumbo bar sold out and they replaced it with two small bars so I got a bit extra 🥰 and they kept me up to date via email every step of the way. 10 out of 10 🙂
First time trying a conditioner bar and I just used the cooki shampoo bar prior so I knew it was going to be good! I didn’t expect to love a conditioner bar this much, but this is so beautiful and nourishing. The ginger conditioner leaves my hair smooth, hydrated, so soft, shiny and easy to manage without feeling heavy or looking flat at the roots. Love the subtle scent too! I’ve even decided to embrace my natural curls after years of straightening every wash day because it makes them look lovely without the frizz. So impressed with every cooki product I’ve tried so far!
I love, love, love the Cooki Ginger Shampoo and Conditioner. I have long grey hair and even though I have the purple toning bar, I only really use it every 3 months or so as I find the Ginger is so great on my hair I really don't need anything else.
Also I took my Cooki on holiday for a month overseas, including a cruise and it was absolutely fabulous, cut down on bag weight and kept my hair soft, clean and shiny, I wouldn't be without it and I'm never going back to bottled shampoos again.
Love the hair bars. They smell so good and leave my hair feeling so soft. Only downside is I burn through the shampoo bars so much faster than the conditioner. If you're new to it buy 2x shampoo to every conditioner or go with the jumbo shampoo bars.

was skeptical at first after having tried other brands looking for natural alternatives that made my hair oily and stringy. But I have had the bars for about 3 weeks now and am surprised at how well they work. I’m so happy with the results from the ginger bar, I’ve only tried this bar and the coconut conditioner so far and they have left my hair shiny and soft. I’d like to try to Jasmine conditioner bar next to detangle my hair better.
I have taken this travelling along the Gibb River Road and it’s been so good. Better than my regular shampoo. I’m now going to purchase a bigger bar for regular use. Great Product. Well done 👍

Love this product! The shampoo bar washes with light foamy suds, and the conditioning bar gives a nice finish. Really liked the recommendation to rethink the way conditioner works .... its not the traditional goop but a bar to gently spread the oils on the hair. The magic happened on day three though ... my hair still felt clean, not needing its usual wash!
I purchased the Cooki bundle for our overseas trip and to be honest it has exceeded mu expectations. My hair feels beautiful and soft. It's not frizzy and dry like it often gets from store bought shampoo/conditioner. I'd 100% recommend it to anyone

I started using Cooki products as I was experiencing hair loss & thinning. I had previously been using expensive products recommended by my hairdresser but found my hair was also lacking shine and was dry on the ends. Since changing to the Ginger conditioner the hair loss has slowed up & my hair (which is shoulder length) is no longer dry on the ends and holds a curl so much better. My hairdresser even commented on how shiny my hair was and how well it held the style.

I introduced these conditioner bars to my son and he is loving the ease of using them, how long it is lasting, and is hopeful of seeing some regrowth results from consistent use of this in cooperation with the Rice Water Protein Shampoo Bar.
Bought this and the argan shampoo primarily for travel, however it will now become my go to hair care. I have slightly wavy, medium thickness hair prone to dryness.... This combination leaves it soft, hydrated and easy to style ❤️

I liked the lather and it didn’t strip my hair. I didn’t need a conditioner the first time. I used the purple conditioner the second time just to knock out the brassiness in my hair.

All Cooki shampoo and conditioner bars are palm oil free, plus also cruelty-free and vegan. None of our products are tested on animals. Please note that the only ingredient in our range which is not vegan is the Pearl Powder in our Hand & Body Soap, which is derived in a cruelty-free process from oysters - but oysters are not killed in the extraction process.

Great question! Just like regular conditioner doesn't lather, our conditioner bars are not designed to foam. Instead, they are a solid block of oils which you use to 'paint' directly onto your hair. Check out this video for instructions on how to activate and get the most out your conditioner. You’ll feel the softness as it melts in - no bubbles needed!
The best part is, each conditioner bar lasts many months - they're incredibly economical. They're also very lightweight and won't weigh down your hair, so if you have fine or limp hair that tends to go flat with heavy creams, you'll absolutely love Cooki conditioner bars.
All our bars are proudly low tox and contain no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, silicones, PEGs or synthetic fragrance.
