How to use:
Wet Cooki Shampoo Bar in hands until it begins to lather. Run bar through wet hair from root to tip and massage until hair is lathered. Rinse out with water.
After rinsing out shampoo, wet Cooki Conditioner Bar in hands and rub gently. Run bar through wet hair from root to tip and massage until hair is lightly coated . Rinse out with water. If you get the conditioner in your eyes, rinse immediately with clean water.
To keep your shampoo bar in good condition and long lasting, allow to dry in between washes. We recommend using a drainer which can let the Cooki dry thoroughly. You can purchase the perfect sustainable bamboo drainer, or use something similar.
Our bars are refillable, just buy the shampoo and conditioner refill next time for a complete zero waste hair hair care.

I love my new Hair cooki products they smell amazing and my hair and scalp have never felt better. Love the cinnamon and the ginger shampoos and the conditioner too. Usually I don't like people touching my hair and usually decline a hair massage buy that hair massager is sooooooo good. I bought a second set for my mum and she loves them as well. I am loving this product. It lathers really well and you only need to use a little bit. The soaps in their holders look great in my bathroom and remind me of little macarons! I only wish the ginger smell was a bit stronger as I love ginger. Can't wait to try the rest of the range.
Over the past few years, I have been making a conscious effort to reduce my use of chemicals and plastics. I have trialled various shampoo and conditioner bars, but unfortunately have often been disappointed by their lack of lather, which makes it difficult to cleanse my scalp effectively. For context, I have fine, thin hair with an oily scalp and dry ends.
Recently, I came across a Facebook advertisement for an Australian brand - Cooki, that offers sulphate-free, natural ingredient shampoo and conditioner bars with no plastic packaging. I decided to give them a try, considering there was little to lose.
To my surprise, the ginger shampoo bar produced an excellent lather, which exceeded all my expectations. The conditioner bar initially took some getting used to, especially since I am accustomed to silicone-based products, but it ultimately left my ends feeling quite soft without making my hair oily too quickly. Transitioning from liquid conditioners to a bar requires a little bit of an adjustment, but I find it well worth the effort, considering there’s no nasties, no plastics and they last so much longer than bottled shampoo & conditioner.
Impressed by these products, I ordered a further five sets to try different variants and also purchased some for my mother. Interestingly, I had a remaining shampoo and conditioner bar from a well-known US brand, which I decided to finish before switching fully to the Cooki products. I love the ginger shampoo and conditioner bars. Your hair feels squeaky clean while shampooing! Definitely don’t need to wash your hair as often which is so good. I use the bamboo bar drainers for the shower and the tins for travelling. So much better than bulky bottles. I was very impressed with the customer service. The ginger jumbo bar sold out and they replaced it with two small bars so I got a bit extra 🥰 and they kept me up to date via email every step of the way. 10 out of 10 🙂
First time trying a conditioner bar and I just used the cooki shampoo bar prior so I knew it was going to be good! I didn’t expect to love a conditioner bar this much, but this is so beautiful and nourishing. The ginger conditioner leaves my hair smooth, hydrated, so soft, shiny and easy to manage without feeling heavy or looking flat at the roots. Love the subtle scent too! I’ve even decided to embrace my natural curls after years of straightening every wash day because it makes them look lovely without the frizz. So impressed with every cooki product I’ve tried so far!
I love, love, love the Cooki Ginger Shampoo and Conditioner. I have long grey hair and even though I have the purple toning bar, I only really use it every 3 months or so as I find the Ginger is so great on my hair I really don't need anything else.
Also I took my Cooki on holiday for a month overseas, including a cruise and it was absolutely fabulous, cut down on bag weight and kept my hair soft, clean and shiny, I wouldn't be without it and I'm never going back to bottled shampoos again.
Love the hair bars. They smell so good and leave my hair feeling so soft. Only downside is I burn through the shampoo bars so much faster than the conditioner. If you're new to it buy 2x shampoo to every conditioner or go with the jumbo shampoo bars.

was skeptical at first after having tried other brands looking for natural alternatives that made my hair oily and stringy. But I have had the bars for about 3 weeks now and am surprised at how well they work. I’m so happy with the results from the ginger bar, I’ve only tried this bar and the coconut conditioner so far and they have left my hair shiny and soft. I’d like to try to Jasmine conditioner bar next to detangle my hair better.
I have taken this travelling along the Gibb River Road and it’s been so good. Better than my regular shampoo. I’m now going to purchase a bigger bar for regular use. Great Product. Well done 👍

Love this product! The shampoo bar washes with light foamy suds, and the conditioning bar gives a nice finish. Really liked the recommendation to rethink the way conditioner works .... its not the traditional goop but a bar to gently spread the oils on the hair. The magic happened on day three though ... my hair still felt clean, not needing its usual wash!

I started using Cooki products as I was experiencing hair loss & thinning. I had previously been using expensive products recommended by my hairdresser but found my hair was also lacking shine and was dry on the ends. Since changing to the Ginger conditioner the hair loss has slowed up & my hair (which is shoulder length) is no longer dry on the ends and holds a curl so much better. I liked the lather and it didn’t strip my hair. I didn’t need a conditioner the first time. I used the purple conditioner the second time just to knock out the brassiness in my hair.

All Cooki shampoo and conditioner bars are palm oil free, plus also cruelty-free and vegan. None of our products are tested on animals. Please note that the only ingredient in our range which is not vegan is the Pearl Powder in our Hand & Body Soap, which is derived in a cruelty-free process from oysters - but oysters are not killed in the extraction process.

Some shampoo and conditioner bars may be soap based, but rest assured our bars are made with high quality ingredients that are made to cleanse, nourish, and repair hair..not skin! We have spent a lot of time and testing to get the perfect balance of ingredients to help keep your hair healthy.
It's really easy to switch to shampoo bars, just select the right one for your hair and follow the instructions, making sure you rinse it out properly. Use your own judgment if you need to use conditioner bars after. You shouldn't find you have a 'transition' period, but it may just take a little while to get used to using them.
Our Cooki conditioner bars can last for 3 months or more. You need to dry the bar fully before placing it back in the tin in between uses.
The best way to do this is using a tray or drainer which can let the shampoo and conditioner bar drip and air dry. You can purchase the perfect sustainable bamboo drainer, or use something similar.
To ensure the bar lasts as long as possible, we also recommend storing the shampoo and conditioner bars in a dry area of your bathroom, such as a cabinet, rather than in the shower.
Following these directions will stop your Cooki from going mushy and will help it last a long time.
